The information provided here is a digital version of the paper fit guide and success tips available for ACUVUE® contact lens products for ASTIGMATISM. First perform an up to date subjective refraction. Input the up to date spectacle prescription for one or both eyes as well as the vertex distance. Sphere, cylinder and axis must be added for one or both eyes. Select the "Calculate" button.
The results will show you the ACUVUE® Brands available for the prescription you entered. Select a brand and the vertex corrected initial trial lens powers are shown.
If any significant rotation of trial lens is observed during fitting which impacts vision, select "Compensate for lens rotation" and enter the amount and direction. A new compensated axis will be calculated if needed. Note: The new trial lens should still show the same rotation it showed with initial trial lens which has now been compensated for by adjusting the axis.
